Practice-theory relay: Sottobosco – growing up in nature

We have started out with an experiment in forest pedagogy for children age 3 to 7. The project is called Sottobosco (Underwood) and is sustained by an informal community of parents, educators, researchers and farmers. Its sustainability is based on community economies principles. Moreover, forest pedagogy itself represents a fascinating field, whose principles align to a large extend with those of posthumanist commons.

The project is supported by the families involved and by the organic farm La Fonte.
