Contemporary Commoning Practices in the Alps At the opening of the final exhibiotn of the IBA Thüringen (DE), Bianca gave an invited presentation on our work in the Vallagarina and the Alps more widely titled Contemporary Commoning Practices in the Alps. Her contribution was focused on how rural and urban commons need to be intertwined. She elaborated on how the steady weaving of commons can significantly contribute to create regional presents and futures that are preparing the ground for livelihoods that care for the interdependent well-being of human and more-than-human others. The stay in Apolda and the visit to the Schwarzatal has been a wonderful occasion to deepen and complexify our work on the cultivation of urba-rural linkages that foster eco-social transformations.
