Publication: Fondo – take back the common lands

To round up her Allianz Fellowship, Flora Mammana has edited a volume (in Italian) that collects her findings of 10 months of research on historical common lands in the Lagarina Valley.
 
The publication is rich with interviews, notes on her research process and historical as well as contemporary information on the common lands and the rights of civic use that come with them – all focused towards inspiring and empowering other commoners to access and take care of these lands that have been managed as commons for at least 1000 years, or 40 generations of local inhabitants.
