Workshops: S4T – food democracy trainings

A few days ago, we concluded our first cycle of four workshops on food democracy in the Lagarina Valley as part of the larger Station for Transformation (S4T) project. The aim was to involve civil society actors and public administration representatives in explorations of sustainable and just food practices in our valley.
 

● 1 October 2025 – Access to quality food – at the Famiglia Cooperativa cooperative supermarket in Noriglio
● 15 October 2025 – Access to land – at one of the fields of the social cooperative Mi Coltivo in Mori
● 29 October 2025 – Access to water – at the headquarters of the cultural association Rebut in Terragnolo
● 19 November 2025 – Where to from here? – at the community academy La Foresta in Rovereto
 

Throughout this journey, alongside various local actors who daily engage with access to food, land, and water, we sought to understand the steps necessary to build a shared food policy that is grounded in people’s lived realtiy. In the final session, we explored how to turn ideas and words into concrete actions for the territory.
